BLODS (Bexhill Light Operatic and Dramatic Society) is a long-established community theatre group based in Bexhill-on-Sea. We bring together local performers, creatives, and volunteers with a shared passion for musical theatre, drama, and live performance.
Where are BLODS based?
We are based at the BLODS Hall in Bexhill Old Town, with performances often held at the De La Warr Pavilion and other local venues. Our hall is used for rehearsals, workshops, and smaller community events.

BLODS stages a wide range of theatrical productions throughout the year — from large-scale musicals and classic plays to youth shows and themed entertainment events. We also offer opportunities for people of all ages to get involved both on stage and behind the scenes.
